Here Master documents are made up of one or more PDF templates from nearly all the modules available in your Microbizz solution. Before you can continue in creating master documents, you need to have created at least one PDF template in advance.

For creating and editing a variation of templates, you should navigate to the Setup-module and choose DOCUMENTS > LIST TEMPLATES.

Here you can view and manage templates.

Create/Edit templates

Creating and editing templates is done in the same way as creating and editing most data in Microbizz, though here, you can create and edit a variety of templates which are as follows:

  • Document templates
  • HTML templates
  • PDF templates
  • SMS templates
  • PDF header/footer templates

Document templates

You can create document templates that can be extracted in any format. For more on how to create these, please refer to document templates.

HTML templates

You can also create HTML templates. For more on how to create these, please refer to HTML templates.

PDF templates

PDF header/footer templates

Finally, you can create templates for header and/or footer for use in your PDF templates. To do so, click on the "New PDF header/footer"-button as shown below.

This will take you to the following page:

To create a new master you need to fill out the following:

  • Template title: Name of the template

  • Modules: The modules that you check off here, are the only ones allowed to use the template

  • Page size: Choose from a variety of page sizes and formats

After saving with the "Save"-button, you can now add more information to the newly created template by either using the pencil to the left of the template, or by clicking directly on the template's title.

As you can see, you are now able to configure more within the template where your data can be represented.

  • Do not create empty pages: Empty pages can't be created
