Projects is your tool to handle several activities which can be turned into tasks or calendar appointments and can be mapped by dependencies.
The essentials
Before you can start using the module, there is some configuration that needs to be in place.
The essential functions are:
- Work area
- Project type
- Project status
Workarea
The workarea is used for time registration on projects and tasks.

Project type
Project types is used to keep a track of different project types and their associated custom fields.
To create a new project type, go to settings > Project types > Create as shown below
Project status
Project status is used to keep a track of the projects current status.
To create a new project status, go to settings > Edit status > New project status as shown below
