Mail bounce issue

On Thursday the 26th all users sending mail using the Microbizz mail server, experienced a “quota exceeded” error message on all their outgoing mails.

The reason for this was a configuration issue at a customer, which triggered a huge amount of outgoing emails. This again triggered a security mechanism in our main mail gateway, which responded to the huge amount of outgoing mail, which unfortunately affected all our customers.

The issue is now resolved and all bounced mails have been sent again.

The security measures worked as they were design, but we are sorry about the inconvenience it caused our customers.
