Every module in Microbizz has a set of permissions, which is the case for the Project module as well.

The available permissions are as follows:
- Project - edit: Allows you to specify who has permission to edit projects
- Project - create: Allows you to specify who has permission to create new projects
- Project - activity: Allows you to specify who has permission to the "Activity" tab on projects
- Project - Gantt: Allows you to specify who has permission to the "Gantt" tab on projects
- Project - economy: Allows you to specify who has access to the "Economy" tab on projects
- Project - notes: Allows you to specify who has access to the "Notes" tab on projects
- Project - email: Allows you to specify who has access to the "Email" tab on projects
- Project - tasks: Allows you to specify who has access to the "Tasks" tab on projects
- Project - calendar: Allows you to specify who has access to the "Calendar" tab on projects
- Project - files: Allows you to specify who has access to the "Files" tab on projects
- Project - planning: Allows you to specify who has access to the "Planning" tab on projects
- Project - view form: Allows you to specify who has access to the "Forms" tab on projects
- Project - forms: Allows you to specify who has permission to fill out requested forms
- Project - registrations: Allows you to specify who has access to the "Hours" tab on projects
- Project - equipment: Allows you to specify who has access to the "Equipment" tab on projects

- Close: Allows you to close a project
- Undo close: Allows you to undo a closing. This is relevant if you have approval policies activated
- Reopen: Allows you to reopen a closed project
- Approve close: Allows you to approve a project closing, so it can be closed with approval
- Update filters: Allows you to use update filters on projects
- Settings: Determines who has access to the Setup menu item
- Number series: Allows you to configure number series
- Fields: Allows you to access the configuration of custom fields
- Project status: Allows you to access the configuration of project statuses
- Status permissions: Allows you to access the configuration of status permissions
- Project types: Allows you to access the configuration of project types
- Filters: Allows you to access the configuration of filters
- Person data: Allows you to access the configuration of GDPR
- Project templates: Allows you to access the configuration of Project templates
