Person types are a way to categorize the different persons connected to your Microbizz solution

Person types are categories for the persons in Microbizz and an example of person types could be the following:

  • Freelancers
  • Outsourcing

Person types also links up with the /wiki/spaces/CPFN/pages/25395214in the Person module. Therefore, it is possible to make specific custom fields for specific types of persons.

Create a person type

Your Microbizz setup might include the ones you need, but it is possible to add more.

To create a new person type you need to fill out following:

  • Type name: Name of the person type

  • Letter: The letter represents the person type in the rest of the system

  • Colour: The colour frames the letter (to help create overview of the different person types)

Edit a person type

Editing a person type happens in the same menu. Just click on the pencil or directly on the title to enter edit mode.

To assign the person type, you just need to edit the person object as explained here.
