2. Custom fields
In Microbizz it is possible to add your own fields (custom fields) to the existing information. Custom fields are relevant to look into when starting to use the CRM module. Custom fields are based on the specific Company types in the CRM module and therefore this comes as a natural next function to look into after defining the Company types. In this case you might have created a type for Customers and Suppliers, but you may want to keep different information on the two types - this is possible with the Custom fields.
To learn more about this and how to set it up, please see the following section: Custom Fields
3. Permissions and policies
Many modules in Microbizz include the possibility of limiting each team´s access to different functions in the module. This is done by using permissions.
Policy / policies in Microbizz define which access is granted to a specific team, when looking for objects (e.g. users, tasks, crm etc.). A policy can be one of three options; Free, Team or Restrictive. Respectively this decides whether the team have access to all objects, objects within the team or objects where the user is responsible.
To learn more about the different Permissions in the User module, please see the following section: Permissions
To learn more about the policies, please see the following section: Policies
4. Person data
If you are using Microbizz to manage your GDPR statements, you'll need to go through the personal data related fields in the CRM-module.
To learn about the Person data functions, please see the following page: [LINK]
5. Settings
As with all Microbizz modules the CRM module offers a wide range of settings. Many options will most likely only be visible to administrators depending on permission settings. This is usually set as default, but you can go through the settings to learn more about the settings regarding the CRM module.
See this page for a walkthrough of the CRM settings: CRM Settings
