The overview page has quite a few things that can be adjusted:

Week selector: This allows to adjust how many weeks are displayed. It is always a whole number of weeks, although you may change which weekdays are displayed, eg. to avoid Saturday and Sunday. The width of each day changes slightly depending on the setting.
Users: Here you can select which teams and individual users that should be displayed. There is a main team which is always at the top, and 0 or more additional teams and users.
Filters: Here you can filter the users from above, based on roles or competences.
Sorting : Here you can sort the users; they can either be sorted based on a field on the user, or they can sorted manually for ultimate flexibility.
Next / previous : The left+ right arrows moves to the next/previous period.
Period selector: Here you can pick a date to be the start of the period; notice that the period will alway start on a Monday.
Stacked/Timeline: Select between two different ways of displaying the planning. In “stacked” mode the plannings are displayed on top of each other, in “timeline” mode they are displayed next to each other.
Settings : You can select which part of the day to display (only relevant in “timeline” timeline mode), and which weekdays to display, and you can select additional fields to display for each planning.
The timeline
Clicking on a planning will mark it with a purple border; all other plannings for the same task will also be marked.
Stacked mode
In stacked mode the plannings for a given user and date are displayed stacked, one above the other, and they have the same size regardless of they last 1 hour or 8 hours. You may drag a planning to another user or another date. If you drag it to the right side of a date the time will be set depending on where within the date that you drop:

If two plannings overlap it will be indicated by a red line. If there is spare time between two plannings it will be indicated by a dotted line.

Timeline mode
In timeline mode the plannings for a given user and date are displayed next to each other, and their width depends on the duration.
Editing a planning
Right click on a planning and select Edit planning. Or right click outside any planning and select Add planning - the start time field will be filled in with the hours taken from the location of the mouse pointer.

The fields Locked, Appointment window, Plan for team and Also plan for are described below.
The small clock icon next to the end End time field is for retrieving the start+end time from the user’s work plan and inserting these into the fieldafields.
Locking
A planning may be locked, this means that it cannot be moved. If the planning is locked to a window (f.ex. 10:00 - 12:00) it can only be moved within that window.
If a planning is locked a small key icon will be show next to the start+end time.

You simply enter the users in the Also plan for fields. The Plan for team field is a short cut for entering all team members in to the Also plan for fields.
When a planning covers multiple users a small multiple users icon appears; if you hover the mouse over the icon you get a list of the users.

Creating an appointment
The Planning+ module will eventually replace the old Calendar module. For that reason you can view and create appointments from the Planning+ overview.

This will send an SMS with a text similar to “You have been linked to the task Cleaning, 2025-01-01 12:00 (duration 2:00). Please confirm by answering PLANOK 12345”. The user should reply with something like “PLANOK 12345” to confirm.
The confirmation status is indicated with a small envelope icon: red if requested, green if confirmed.

If you move or copy the planning the confirmation status is reset.
