You can attach stock to companies in the Stock tab. In order to do so, you must first enable it on the company object by clicking "Enable stock":
After enabling the stock, the Stock tab gets additional functionalities.
Add stock item
By clicking on "Add stock item", you can either create new stock items specific for that particular company or search and choose products you may already have setup in the Setup module.
You have to fill in the following:
- Product no.: Either a new or a currently registered one. By typing in a product no. that you know exists, Microbizz will automatically find the product you have previously saved by clicking into another field after finishing typing
- Product: A title for your item, either a new or a currently registered one. By typing in a product name that you know exists, Microbizz will automatically find the product you have previously saved by clicking into another field after finishing typing
- Count: The number of items that are currently in stock
- Expected count: The actual amount you expect the item to be in stock
Creating tasks
If an order of an item from a stock results in a task, you can choose a task template to create that task. To do so, click on "Set stock task template":
Choose one of the following:
- Template: If you have created any task template, you can choose it from the dropdown box
Finally, press the Set template button to confirm your choice. Press Cancel to discard it.
